I drove out to Long Island yesterday morning and did another 1/2 marathon. This one was way easier! Nice and flat and it was lightly raining for most of it so it kept us all cool. I did my best time yet @ 2 hours 13 minutes. I also took my phone and listened to New Kids on the Block the whole time!!! It was actually a good time. I have to start working up to a whole marathon soon.
Not much else new here. I am looking forward to Brooke moving here, even if only for 6-12 months. Then I will have a partner in crime :-) Lara is visiting next week so I am SURE there will be a couple of blogs about that. Oh, and I went out on my 2nd date with my manhattan man last night. I am freaking loving it here so far and it has only been a few weeks!
Congrats on your half. I'm so envy of your determaination. I have no excuses, I can do it also!! Please come visit us. Or maybe I should come visit you. I will work on that one. Miss you
